Making a Claim

If something has happened to your pet, we know how stressful this can be and we will do all we can to help - we're here for you and your pet if you need us. If you need to make a claim, please refer to the below step by step guide.

If you need to make a claim then you can download the relevant claim form below, or from the bottom of this page and email it to pettracclaims@ncionline.co.uk. Alternatively, you can post your form to us at:

The veterinary fees claim form is available to customers whose pet has already received treatment and want to claim the costs of veterinary fees back. Please click here to download the form.

The pre-authorisation form is available to customers who are seeking assurance that treatment will be covered before it goes ahead. Please click here to download the form.

For all sections of cover (except for Third party liability cover):
If you need to make a claim and you either:
  • Purchased your policy before 1st May 2024, or
  • Your last renewal date was before 13th May 2024,

If your need to make a claim and you purchased your policy after 1st May 2024, please contact our UK-based claims team by calling us on: 01423 447 375. Alternatively, you can email: PETtracClaims@ncionline.co.uk.

If your need to make a claim and your last renewal date was after 13th May 2024, who you contact depends on when your pet's treatment was done. If the treatment you want to claim for was:
To claim for Third party liability cover (all customers):

We will keep you updated on the progress of any claim by email and/or text message.

Claim payments
If your claim has been successful, then we can issue the claim payment to:
  • Your bank account, using the same details that you have provided us with, so you aren't left out of pocket, or;
  • Directly to your vet, if your vet is able to accept direct payments and this is easier for you.
